Quality of formulation
The formulation of the different milks of
Novalac' s range has been entrusted to a multidisciplinary
team formed of paediatrics, chemists, nutrition specialists
and process engineering specialists.
The aim of this team : to propose effective
dietetic solutions that meet different situations encountered
during the first year of life, assuring at the same time the
comfort and optimal growth of the baby.
For each clinical situation, an expert analyse
of physiological and physiopathological process is made and
is the base for the formulas' conception.
Today, Novalac range gives a high quality,
specifically adapted to most little digestive worries of baby.
Novalac range conforms to European and international
regulations concerning infant formula and health preparation.
This range already available in numerous countries, contributes
towards the development of million of children in the world.

Fabrication quality
At a time where the notion of quality is
particularly important, mainly when we speak about animal
feeding and farm —produce environment, Novalac milks'
fabrication is carefully controlled.
The Novalac range is produced on different
sites in France and Europe. Quality regulations, higher than
the minimum required are applied :
Quality in the choice of milk producers
Milk producers who supply milk for the fabrication
of Novalac formulas are bound by strict requirements ; this
process insures the control and quality of the animal producers
and milk delivered to the dairy and which will be used for
the infant dairy production.
Moreover, in accordance with the current
legislation, the feed given to the livestock is guaranteed
free of animal flour. All precautions are taken to prevent
the presence of any contaminated factors such as : dioxins,
pesticides, nitrate … Finally, the ingredients contained
in Novalac milks' composition come from non genetically
modified sources.
Quality in the choice of the dairy
Novalac milks are fabricated on site within
the dairy, which allows the use of fresh milk only which guaranties
a higher quality.
Quality in the fabrication controls
The entire fabrication operations of Novalac
milks conform to international standards ISO 9001 :
2000.
In total, there are 500 controls made before
a tin of Novalac infant milk can leave the dairy. There are
strict control on raw material such as milk, water, equipments,
fabrication process and finished products.
These controls are : physical, chemical and
microbiological. These controls insure total quality from
fabrication to packaging.
